Our Story
"Meet the Makers: Honoring the Montagnard's!
Hidden Highland Treasures is build on the hands and hearts of the Montagnard's - Vietnam's indigenous peoples of the central highlands. Known as "mountain people". The Montagnard's make up over 30 ethnic tribes including Koho, Jarai, Bahnar, Bunong and Ede - each tribe with their own language and traditions. Our Culture is a Legacy of Resilience. During the Vietnam War, many Montagnard's fought alongside the U.S and South Vietnamese forces. Their deep knowledge of the land made them strategic allies, but also placed them at risk. After war, many faced persecution and our ancestral land was seized and developed by the Vietnamese government. Our voices were silenced, but our spirit endured.
Today, we preserve our heritage through our craft.
Coffee is not just a commodity - it's a way of life. The Montagnard's were the first to cultivate Vietnam's coffee beans. Grown in volcanic soil and cook elevations, our coffee is bold, earthy and deeply connected to our traditions. We source our beans directly from Montagnard farmers who grow, harvest, and roast with care. Every cup tells a story of survival, strength and cultural pride.
When you wear our brand or brew our coffee, you're engaging in a deeper kind of luxury to preserving a legacy!"
